Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Overview

At Cymart, we are committed to providing high-quality technology products and excellent customer service. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items for a refund, exchange, or repair in accordance with this Returns & Refunds Policy.


2. Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind about a product, you may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order, provided that:

  • The product is unused and in its original condition
  • All packaging, accessories, manuals, and seals are intact
  • The item is not damaged or altered
  • Proof of purchase is provided

Please note:

  • Shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the customer’s responsibility
  • A restocking fee may apply for certain products

3. Faulty or Defective Products

If a product is faulty, damaged, or not functioning as intended, Cymart will:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace the product
  • Refund the purchase amount

This is handled in line with the Consumer Protection Act, which provides a 6-month implied warranty on goods.

If the product fails within 6 months of purchase, you may return it for assessment and resolution.


4. Incorrect Items Received

If you receive the wrong product, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Cymart will arrange for:

  • Collection of the incorrect item
  • Delivery of the correct product at no additional cost

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be eligible for return unless faulty:

  • Software, digital products, or activated licenses
  • Products with broken seals or opened packaging where hygiene or security applies
  • Custom-configured or special-order items
  • Clearance or final sale products

6. Return Process

To request a return:

  1. Email our support team at support@cymart.co.za
  2. Provide your order number, product details, and reason for return
  3. Our team will provide return instructions and approval
  4. Securely package the item and return it using the approved method

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.


7. Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days
  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a fault or error on our part

8. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange a product for another item:

  • The exchange request must be made within 7 days of delivery
  • Price differences will be charged or refunded accordingly

9. Damaged Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Take photos of the product and packaging
  2. Report the issue within 48 hours
  3. Cymart will arrange a replacement or refund where applicable
